Stayed here for three nights in November 2019. Has the new Kixby name on the outside of the building. Had just been refurbished. There is a BlackTap restaurant and a bar in the hotel but we didn’t use either.
On check in staff were helpful (and at other times when we needed assistance) and given an upgrade to a king room. We had a room at the back of the hotel on the second floor and had no issues with noise from outside.
The rooftop bar was open to get a good picture of the Empire State Building but not to serve alcohol which is a shame really because with heaters etc it’ll I would buy a drink and sit up there in the winter.
The only downside was the gym wasn’t finished yet, which I was planning to use as I was getting up at 5am each day due to still being on UK time.
Good location, Macy’s at the end of the road, as well as a subway station.

I stayed here for 3 nights for my first visit to NYC. Excellent choice. This is a "boutique" hotel and it is very well located. The room was small but I only needed it for sleep. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was amazing. It had a fridge but not a microwave. The customer service was also excellent. There is a rooftop bar with a view of the Empire State Building. Restaurant right next door. Plus everything in midtown is minutes away and the rest of manhattan just a subway ride away. Subway station a short walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to book again.
