We received a great two bed suite in the front of the hotel. We had booked very early, so we were able to get a very good, free cancellation room. We booked 12 nights, but left after 11. Hotel Marlowe was in a great location, with Belles Artes, Alameda Park and its Metro station one block away. China Town was one block away out the front door. We ate many meals in China Town in order to get fresh vegetables. Really enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the hotel at a very good price. The hotel has a very nice business center as well as a gym. We utilized a driver recommended by the hotel for five days while in MC. He picked us up at the airport and we safely toured many sites. The hotel manager at the Marlowe was exceptionally nice, translating for us to ensure the driver knew exactly what we wanted. Antonio was a distinct pleasure to get to know and helped us right up to the point we left the hotel. The Marlowe is within 3 Metro locations for easy walking. The streets and park were cleaned daily and we found the whole population very friendly and nice. XOXO convenience store is next to the hotel and many restaurants. Never once did we hear or observe anyone upset. The Mexican people appear to be very satisfied with that which they have and they don't want for anything else. The only difficult things was the traffic. Within the city perimeter, they traffic is out of this world. We walked to the Zocalo and took the Metro no less than 5 times. You could eat off the floor in the Metro it is so clean. Police were everywhere to guarantee our safety. We were able to see all the sites from the Hotel Marlowe. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was spotless. There are several persons on the front desk who speak some English. All in all, it was a wonderful experience staying in MC and in the Hotel Marlowe. MC is one of the cleanest cities one will find. Our driver, Carlos Pareddes took us to Coyoacan, Roma, Condessa, Xochimilgo, Chapultepec, Mixquic and Cholula/Puebla. We took the red Turibus to the pyramids and Basilica de Guadeloupe (highly recommend). The guide at Chapultepec, Abel, was absolutely terrific. We enjoyed one of the best trips of our lives to Mexico City. Safe, fun and wonderful!!!

Nice sized room, comfortable beds, filtered water, very good wifi- if you are just looking for a comfortable place to sleep after exploring, i can highley recommend.
The real crown is the location.
steps away, from Bella artist, zocalo, chinatown and dozens of resturants and stores both high and low, you can spend satifying days going no further than 10-15 mins walk in any direction
