I stayed here a week on business, and really enjoyed my experience. The hotel decor is funky, creative and elegant all at the same time. The restaurant (on premises) is run by a local chef, offering delicious (and once again) creative dishes as a reasonable price. The hotel offers complimentary "beer hour" daily, and coffee and tea throughout. I also liked their "tree hugger" campaign, giving you the option to forgo daily housekeeping in exchange for a $5 credit from the in-room mini-bar, which includes snacks water, drinks, etc. In addition, the location is great, really close to many shopping/dining options. The only negative is the $45/day valet parking...but hey, after all, you are in the city center!

As newcomers to Portland, we had a really great time at Hotel Lucia. There's a parking lot right across the street, which made getting around easier, and it's also within walking distance of lots of breweries, restaurants, etc. The free craft beer happy hour in the lobby was a nice addition. Overall a very pleasant stay!
