Hotel Indigo is a boutique hotel in downtown St. Petersburg. Just blocks from the beautiful bay, it was originally a private home, built in 1926. While this 3-floor building has the charm of an older hotel, it has been updated and offers many modern amenities.

There are 76 rooms and seven suites available. Suites with sofa beds are best suited for families. Rollaway beds are offered for a fee. You can also request a crib. The onsite cafÃ© serves breakfast and dinner, and there is a bar in the lobby.

Located in the historic downtown district, many restaurants, museums and shops are in short walking distance. Visit the Dali Museum, Museum of Modern Art or Chihuly Collection. Valet parking is provided for a daily fee. Take advantage of the complimentary bicycles and roll around town on two wheels.

Pets under 50 pounds are welcome for a $50 per-stay fee. The outdoor pool and whirlpool are great for a quick dip. A fitness center, 24/7 business center, free Wi-Fi, and laundry and dry cleaning services are available.

Horrible Customer Serivce

Recently I was unable to check into Hotel Indigo Saint Petersburg Downtown because I forgot my ID. I can get over that, but they also refused to refund my reservation. You read that right; they wouldn't let me stay there but still kept my money!

The October ghosts of plumbing

Hotel Indigo is within a historic old hotel in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida.
I loved the modern renovations. People and service were good. Especially hats off to Johnathan at the front desk and Sir at the valet. Unfortunately, I had a series of plumbing glitches. My first room was over the laundry and never got hot water. Second room had a valve problem and also did not get hot water. Third room had hot but an intermittent toilet flushing issue. By that time I was finishing my stay...Despite all the glitches, I really liked the place! Great location in downtown St. Petersburg, Easy walking distances to great restaurants. Nice bar area. Everyone was so helpful, that yes, I really will likely be back.
