Located in Savannah’s historic district, this hotel is situated within a building dubbed, the “Grand Lady on the Bay” which was once filled with dry goods like tobacco and peaches and everything in between. Situated in Ellis Square, this boutique hotel is located next to the City Market. Your four legged friends, weighing up to 80 pounds, are welcome here at an additional fee and there are several walking areas near the hotel. The fitness center with its cardio and weight machines is a great place for families to stay on top of a daily workout routine. The spacious guestrooms feature one king or two queen beds, hardwood floors, Bluetooth music player, Keurig coffee maker and a flat screen television. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is also available so everyone in the family can stay connected to work and home. While there is no onsite dining at this hotel, several restaurants can be found nearby.

We were very happy we chose to stay in the historic district . It was walking distance to everything we had planned to do in Savannah.
The hotel itself was fine.
We had a couple of issues which made our stay less than 5 star
. We were given vouchers for a drink at the bar and then we were told the drinks we ordered were not covered by the vouchers. Rhounay , the front desk supervisor , assisted us in resolving this and our vouchers were honored .
The security bolt in our room was not working and again Rhounay did what she could to resolve the issue. Thanks Rhounay.
Next time I would probably chose a smaller, less hectic hotel with a bit more charm.

Location was perfect we self parked in a lot one block away. So easy and inexpensive. And we did not need the car until we explored tybee beach.
Okay, now for the hotel....room was fine. Housekeeping needed reminders to put clean coffee mugs in our room - ultimately, Rhounay, the front desk supervisor did that for us. More about Rhounay in a second.
We received comp drink voucher that we used at the hotel bar. The bartender did not have the best attitude. She told us our drinks were not covered - only beer and house wine. I went to Rhounay at the front desk and she gave us the full amount off the drinks. The drinks we ordered weren’t even made according to menu description. When asked about the added club soda, which was obviously used to fill glass, the Bartender replied she added just a splash!
Our room bolt did not work. Rhounay had hotel engineer look at it and he needed to order part. She gave us a percent off room bill.
Rhounay couldn’t have been more friendlier, kind, and customer service related. She was AWESOME.
So thank you Rhounay.
