Hotetur Beach Paradise is an all-inclusive resort about 12 miles from downtown Cancun. Rates include food, beverages, and most children’s and adult activities. Rooms feature ocean and lagoon views. Suites offer a living room with a sofa bed. Three restaurants and a snack bar will appease anyone’s hungry tummy. El Globo Theater hosts live shows and entertainment, as well. Kids will go bananas for the outdoor swimming pool. If they grow tired of it, the beach is only steps away. The whole family will enjoy the array of water sports at the resort, including snorkeling and kayaking. There are many area attractions, as well, such as golfing and shopping. The “Interactive Aquarium” tour is an absolute must for families: you will come face-to-face with marine life and swim with sea turtles and dolphins.

Overall a great stay where the staff couldn’t do anymore to help you. We didn’t arrive until midnight and felt the check in process needs to remain consistent appreciate we arrived late so energy may have lower but compared to check ins in the day there they felt warmer and friendlier. We did tell our check in team member it was our anniversary and prior to our arrival we did try and organise an upgrade but nothing come of those so from an experience Point of view something to look at. Rooms were really good and we loved how big the room was! The staff around the beach area couldn’t do enough for you all so if you are looked after by Job, Rey, William or Gaby then you will have an awesome time!
Some tips!
-Remember to tip as well and it will be even better! Lots to do around the resort so if you step outside the hotel and grab an R2 bus you can head into town for $1 which is a bargain and lots to do in downtown cancun
-you also have choices of the beach with mini teepees to keep you covered when it’s hot - we had a few days of pure Mexican heat and it was hot so make sure you cover up !
-Supermarkets also local and no need for beach towels as they are all provided. There is one in the hotel and two just outside remember Cancun has alcohol licensing laws and the mini bar is just soft drinks so if you like a drink get to the shops before they shut.
-restaurants are good and the only one you have to book in advance is the Japanese one
- there is an on-site gym which is ok but with the amount of beach you have running outside is a better option
- Room service available again remember to tip
- Wi fi isn’t great but ok for general browsing - being brits we wanted to stream the premier league games and it wasn’t great
- Food is good check out the restaurants around - pool bar is great based on mexican food
Overall This is a nice boutique hotel so if you have been to some of the bigger chains it’s nothing like those but more intimate. Would defo come back again if we can.

We had a lovely, week at The Oleo boutique hotel. All staff are friendly and attentive, most notably Victor bringing us food and drinks on the beach and Carlos serving us in the excellent Almar restaurant. The hotel rooms, poolside and beach areas were kept very clean. Highly recommended.
