One of the closest hotels you will find to the White House is the Hotel Harrington, a 242-room budget-friendly hotel in the heart of Washington, D.C. Welcoming families, the hotel features 26 deluxe family rooms. These rooms can sleep up to five. Refrigerators are found in most guest rooms (and can be delivered, if not), and guest laundry machines are available. Onsite family dining is available at Harriet’s Family Restaurant from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. (The restaurant provides its microwave for guest use.) The family-friendly Harry’s Pub is a casual place for sandwiches and snacks, while Ollie’s Trolley features burgers, shakes and fries. The hotel, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2014, provides free Wi-Fi throughout its property.

Location is fantastic for all the sights

A couple of blocks from the National Mall. This is very reasonably priced hotel. The car park is a block or so away.

The room's decor was ok & the room was clean except for the lady's thong we found under the TV!!!

Don't expect a view from the window.

Needs an update, but perfect location

The selling point of the hotel is the location- everything you could possibly need is right around the corner, and the metro is nearby for anywhere not within walking distance. We travelled with a school group- breakfast was good and staff were friendly, but the building needs some work- issues with heating and the windows not closing. Still, bedsheets were clean. Good for a short visit to see the sites.
