This colorful and charming beachside hotel is right in the middle of the family-friendly North Beach area. Their standard rooms come with two queen beds and beach view balconies, but a big family will want to book the hotel’s huge DeVille Suite. The three-bedroom suite features king, queen, and bunk beds, plus a full kitchen, dining room, and living room. Kids will love the fact that the beautiful sandy beach is a mere 50 yards from the hotel. The calm waters of the bay are great for swimming and kayaking, which more than makes up for the lack of a pool at the hotel.
The Hotel DeVille has a prime location in North Beach, within walking distance of many landmark restaurants and attractions. The USS Lexington, the WWII aircraft carrier turned floating museum, is a pleasant 10-minute stroll down the beach. A few minutes further is the fun and educational Texas State Aquarium. A short drive across the Harbor Bridge is downtown Corpus Christi, where you’ll find a wide range of museums, shops, and restaurants. Kids might enjoy checking out the Texas Surf Museum and the Corpus Christi Science and History Museum. You’ll be an easy 30-minute drive from the Padre Island National Seashore on the Gulf coast. You can’t beat the huge family suite and wonderful North Shore location of the Hotel DeVille for your vacation in Corpus Christi.

The hotel is great! Very comfortable, great view, awesome location, friendly staff and very clean! The hotel is in the same parking lot as a restaurant/bar which was very convenient! We will see you again soon!!

My husband checked us in while I was on the beach. He told me that the first room was dirty and had a piece of turd in the toilet. They switched the rooms. We went to the room and was hoping for the best. The room was first looked outdated and had a strange smell. As I was about to take a shower the walls were dirty. There was sand in the shower before I was in there. After all of that the bed was nice until I was about to go to bed I see sand in the sheets. Mind you I haven't been in the bed nor touched it. The later it gets in the night you can see people walking around the floor outside drinking and yelling so loud you can hear it from inside the room. The curtains are so thin almost like a sheet but with holes yes I said holes. One looked like a burn mark and I don't smoke. The moment my husband woke up I packed my stuff and got out. There is no pool, nor picnic area. The picnic area is a table by the parking lot. If you wanted wifi it's barely works way worst than dial up. Honestly I would never recommend this place to anyone. Honestly i think this was the worst place I ever been to before.
