The decking in the restaurant has rotted to the point that it has been partially removed and has patches elsewhere. The swim up bar has a railing that has been eaten away by termites and the pieces have just been left to lay. The water feature surrounding the lounging area has been turned off because of no maintenance I am sure. This was a very nice resort 20 years ago, not much spent in the way of upkeep since. Cactuses growing out of the roofs everywhere.

I got a good value through RCI which is why I chose this resort. It has a beautiful infinity pool where we spend a lot of time. The reason for the 3 stars I gave in cleanliness is because there were lipstick smudges on the wall in the upstairs room. Although we had cleaning service every day, the smudges were overlooked every the entire 10 days we were there. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit which was more than enough room for the three of us. I would not recommend having to use the couch style bed in the kitchen. If you have a party that requires more that the one king bed and two queens I wouldn't recommend this resort. Overall the resort had great beach access and the pools are amazing. We spent a lot of time in the infinity pool. There is an RCI associate that will try to get you to go to a neighboring resort, we declined several times, but he was persistent, and will offer incentives in order to get you to go.
