It feels like whoever originally opened this place had some pride of ownership then...it was seen as a cash cow and sold off to some other company or owner who has NO PRIDE or knowledge of systems and general maintenance. Let me also add that I've been traveling Latin America for over 25 years. I have realistic expectations but this is just pure negligence. when we first came in the bathrooms in the lobby the bathrooms were filthy and had no toilet paper although it was very slow and employees were just hanging out. I went up to my room and on a cursory glance noticed that it was absolutely filthy. Debris all over the floor. A t-shirt under the bed and everything just had Grime on it. The walls are paper-thin and you can hear all of your neighbors. The doors for the rooms are hollow-core doors so everything throughout the Center Hall staircase echoes throughout. Walking through the Hotel there is deferred maintenance everywhere. The elevator to the fourth floor doesn't work and looks like it has not work for some time. Another colleague on my visit had a toilet that would not flush. Carpets were stained and full of cigarette Burns. Going to breakfast in the morning the staff seem to have no sense of urgency although there were Empty Tables full of dirty dishes and obviously people waiting to set. Some staff words openly eating at tables while other people were waiting. There was no milk out for the cereal and plates for food when I went to eat. The breakfast was the most basic offering I have seen for this kind of accommodation. Not recommended

Ten of us on a G Adventures holiday checked in today and checked out twenty minutes later. Each of our rooms was dirty - no covers on duvets; blood stains on duvet; dirty stained carpets; foul smell; hair and nail clippings on beds. I could go on!! And this was supposedly 3 stars!!!!
Our G Adventures CEO found us another hotel and we moved there. I would not recommend this hotel at any price!
