Lovely staff, good enough place to rest your head

Good location, clean and spacious room with a great bathroom. We got a good deal and were very happy with our stay.

The hotel was a long walk from the bus station, and maybe not ideal if you're wearing your tourist badge (a backpack and a confused look on your face) so I'd recommend getting a taxi, it was 60 pesos for us.

Hotel booked a tour for us. Would've been more helpful if the tour was in English, so if your Spanish is limited I'd suggest looking elsewhere. There are a whole range of tour companies you can book with in the centre (along the street with the hanging birds and cobbles).

Lovely staff and the breakfast was enough - coffee, toast, jam and some pastries. And some orange juice my fiancé loved.

We stayed on the second floor in room 203 while our friends stayed on the bottom floor in 104. The room was simple but very efficient. The rooms are clean and comfy, exactly what we would expect when staying at this budget. The staff spoke some english which was helpful and were efficient in offering what we found to be the best deal in Oaxaca for site tours of Monte Alban, Mitla, Hierve el Agua, Tule Tree, San Bartolo, Teotitlan and other great sites in the area. The hotel is very well located with an organic eats and coffee shops within a few blocks and a small walk to the other awesome sites of Oaxaca City including, San Domingo and San Agustine Churches and the Historic Square. There was no air-conditioning but it was not required as the nights in Oaxaca City cool off nicely, it did have a ceiling fan which was more than required. There is a fitness club next door that fires up at 7:30 AM so if you like to sleep in this will be an alarm clock! LOL
