The hotel is built on the side of a hill. It shines white, as its name suggests in the perpetual Huatulco sunshine. Like many homes around it, several rooms are topped by domes. Some have lofts tucked into them.
The internet was at times spotty. The
bathrooms were a bit dated but, at the end of the day were functional. Hot water took a bit of time to ramp up, but I was on vacation.
I wanted to get that out of the way because the rest of it is excellent. Comfortable beds. Great pool. Wonderful friendly staff. Place was spotless.
It is located in a residential neighbourhood about a pleasant ten minute walk to the Playa Santa Cruz, the main beach in Crucecita. It Is lined with restaurants and there is fierce but friendly competition for your custom. We enjoyed a great breakfast at Niko’s Coffee shop a two minute walk away each morning.
The hotel is a $50 or less peso cab trip to the centre of Crucecita or to the Chedraui (Walmart like) store. Playa El Arrocito or Playa La Entrega was about $70 pesos.
Overall, Our impression is that the hotel caters to Mexican tourists. This was a plus for us. We had wanted to get a feel for Mexico. We enjoyed our stay and if you want to experience that kind of trip, this hotel is a very good choice.

Quiet. Birds. Pool. Clean room daily. AirCon. Saweeet staff. Locked gate and main door at 11pm. Kitchen available for use, some patrons stay for a couple months so they cook proper food. I didn’t. Coffee made down in kitchen daily. There’s only 6 rooms, quaint. Did I mention quiet? Seahorse room has great yoga balconies (yep, 2 balconies!).
There are ants around. Don’t leave food in your room. Bathroom was crumbling a bit but in that setting, who really cares? Might try for a lower rate next time is all. And I had to pack my own water up to my room, which I slacked on and forgot about often so I got super dehydrated. Next time ;-)
