Worth seeing!

This is a lovely, well cared for hotel in the heart of Boulder. It's over 100 years old and has some of the original purchase receipts (15 plates, etc!) along with several other antiques. The restaurant has a patio that is lovely for lunch in the summer. As I live in the area, I've never stayed here but just off the Pearl Street mall it's a great place to take visitors.

Delightful vintage hotel

My wife and I stayed here to give us good access to Rocky Mountain National Park, and of course, Boulder. The hotel retains its vintage characteristics yet the rooms are nicely appointed with updated features. The Spruce Restaurant is very good, and worth a visit anytime one is in Boulder. The same is definitely the case for the License No. 1 bar in the basement of the hotel. The Friday Happy Hour in the Lobby, with live music by CU’s music department was great, as were the drinks. The location is just steps away from
the pedestrian mall of Pearl St. Definitely will return and enjoy the friendly staff and great setting.
