Would stay again.

Convenient to train station and metro. Lots of eating possibilities nearby plus a grocery store. A long walk to Duomo, but not difficult and interesting shops along the way. Fabulous reception staff. Very professional. Breakfast has LOTS of variety and fresh, hot food. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Yes, it is a bit dated, but in no way did that detract from our very positive experience at the Hotel Berna. We thought the price for what we received was very reasonable. We'd stay again and definitely recommend it.

The hotel is located in a strategic position, a few minutes walk from the central station, convenient for transport (taxi, bus and metro) and in a street full of restaurants and bars, but all quite quiet. The staff is really very kind and helpful. However, my opinion can not be entirely positive because the level of comfort in the room is very low for a 4 star hotel. Particularly the really uncomfortable bed (still with the spring mattress for me are really not acceptable).In general the hotel would need to be renovated
