The Hotel Ballard is situated in Ballard, a trendy neighborhood in Seattle that’s known for its restaurants, record stores, and boutiques. It’s also close to the Ballard Locks, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Seattle, and a short distance from Golden Gardens Park, a fantastic beach on Puget Sound complete with a playground, fire pits, and picnic areas.

Beautiful comfortable boutique hotel

The hotel is a little gem of a place, in a lovely neighbourhood.

The room was comfortable and well appointed and the place has a homely boutique feel. The staff were really helpful.

I had never visited Seattle before, but Ballard is a really interesting neighbourhood with lots of local shops and restaurants. The area has a strong boating and seafaring heritage and the new Nordic museum (a must see) is with walking distance. There’s a good bus service (25 minutes to downtown) with stops just over a block away.

Very nice hotel! Parking situation is meh but the comfy room and really great bathroom make up for that. Bed and pillows were top notch! Best hotel shower ever! Very quiet rooms even with the little balcony. Really great find in Ballard... 15minutes to downtown easy!
