Grand hotel but bedding needs some upgrades

We stayed here for three nights. The location is perfect for exploring Lisbon on foot. We were impressed with the high ceiling and decor in our 4th floor room until we sat on the rock hard bed. The pillows were lumpy so I asked for another pillow, but I was given another equally lumpy pillow. The shower should come with instructions since figuring it out was a challenge but the shower head was modern and worked well once we figured it out. Breakfast, which was included, was very enjoyable with plenty of variety. The power on our entire floor went out for about a 1/2 hour around 11pm one evening - apparently that is a common issue.

Great hotel

We came here based on TripAdvisor. What we found was a smaller quieter version of The Plaza (NYC) Fantastic architecture 25 ft high ceilings. Great breakfast. First-class service. Many servers are in dinner jackets. 24 hr concierge. Rooms are perfect and its right next to train station for your day trip to Sintra.
