Great location Clean Comfortable bed

I stayed last week of July and had a great time at this property I was a little worry of booking a hotel old and dirty as many hotel in NY you pay whole a lot and end up in a trash bin. This hotel compared to others price wise offert A well located place to stay but also clean and comfortable. staff was friendly I would recommend this place.
The only down side I wasnt able to check in the first night due to some travel disruptions I filled out a refund request and they refused to refund the night I didnt use
Which I dont think it was fare specially for me that I work on the Hospitality industry dont tell me you cant of course you do.

Let there be light....near the bed

Pros: Good location. Refrig, cooktop. Large, nicely appointed, tiled Bath. Clean throughout. Friendly staff.
Cons: Odd layout. Very dark. My room was in the back - 5th flr, so no daylight coming in. NO LIGHT NEAR THE BED! Only light in the bedrm area was bright overhead. Had to get out of bed to turn it off. I asked for a lamp, but they didn't have any. For me, that's a rule out. Rm needs freshening up.
