Overview
by Kaitlin Braun
Set on a hill overlooking the sea, this small resort is comprised of four rooms and four private bungalows dotted around a swimming pool and surrounded by tropical trees and flowers. Each bungalow includes a children’s area with bunk beds, as well as an equipped kitchenette so you can prepare some meals on your own. Otherwise, head to the onsite restaurant, which is open three meals a day (except Sunday night and Monday), with breakfast overlooking the sea, a “buffet grill party” at lunchtime, and chef specials for dinner.
The hillside location is very peaceful and quiet, perfect for visiting beaches, snorkeling and scuba diving, walking trails along the coastal cliffs, and enjoying a secluded vacation in Guadeloupe’s nature. However, note that it’s not ideal if you’d rather be near town: the capital city of Basse-Terre is an hour’s drive away.

Owner was very helpful and nice! Our room in second floor was spacious, very comfortable bed, pillows. Area was great, in 5 minutes walking distance was beautiful coast with rocks and huge waves. Nice, quite place, breakfast was simple, but acceptable for us. Near the hotel was Pointe des Châteaux, very beautiful place with stunning view. Also beach for snorkeling was great, nearby this place. In hotel you can get all accessories for that.
Fridge in room at first nights was too loud, but after few nights I even did not hear it.

We - two retired couples - stayed two weeks at this fantastic place. Really good service, clean and nice bungalows and great hospitality by the owner Michel. The lunch was an exceptional experience - really great food. So we are already longing to get back.
