I recently participated in a small workshop at this Homewood suites. The hotel is located close to the intersection of 2 major roads in Tallahassee. Not a large hotel, the conference room we used was nicely spacious for our workshop of 35-40 people including tables and room for extra chairs, plus a smaller outer room for registration, etc.
Two items that lowered my review from Excellent to Very Good: Very little parking is available in the front, the majority to the side and behind the hotel. Also, our conference room was on the second floor, however, the only public restrooms (non-guest room bathrooms) were located on the first floor. The second floor had an open balcony and nice stair case (wide for people to easily pass, steps not too steep) and an elevator, of course, so it was not a large inconvenience. The public women's restroom only had 3 stalls, so a wait ensued at certain times. The restroom was always clean and fully stocked, including feminine hygiene products.
The lobby and breakfast area (included with stay) was also very well laid out with plenty of seating for guests. Staff was easy to find and very pleasant.
