We stayed here for 2 nights with our grandkids (3 & 5). The facility is child-friendly with a nice pool and sport court, with free use of balls for the court. The breakfast was above average with a nice selection of fresh fruit, variety of breads, multiple yogurt flavors and then the usual high fat/sugar/carb and processed American breakfast staples.
Our room had multiple issues (6 to be exact) that required assistance from the front desk and maintenance. To their credit, each issue was fully rectified quickly and politely. However, in a nice hotel like Homewood these issues should never have been left unaddressed in the first place. At checkout I suggested to the front desk that there is a communication disconnect between housekeeping and the front desk/maintenance, otherwise these issues would have been taken care of prior to a guest discovering them (broken pull-out bed, no sheets for pull-out, 2 lights not working, room phone not working, shower doors off track, 2 towels for 4 guests). I’m being generous with a 4-star rating due to the excellent response from the front desk evening staff (Edward) to address these issues.
