We stayed here after we evacuated the east coast of Florida during Hurricane Dorian. We were able to put all of our frozen food in the full refrigerator and bring our cat here. It made our experience a whole lot easier. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were very clean. This Homewood Suites will be our "go to" place whenever we come to the St. Pete area again.

We came into town on business. The first unit we were given was very nice with a partial kitchen area. The only problem was the bedroom carpet was soaked. Turns out the it had to do with the AC.
We were not able to get a different room until the next day. The second unit, sadly had soaked carpet in the same area. The problem was the bathtub was leaking. We were moved again. The hotel did upgrade us. However, on our last day the water was out for hours. I was brushing my teeth and had no water to rinse my mouth nor water to shower. We had no warning from the front desk. It turns out there was flooding on the first floor. It was such an inconvenience to be moved. It was even worse not to be told there was no water. No flushing toilets. :/
All in all, the rooms are nice. Beds are comfortable but hopefully you won’t have water issues.
