Over the past few years we have had to be in Rochester for medical reasons and access to the Mayo Clinic. This is the only hotel I recommend. The rooms are awesome. They provide free shuttle service to Mayo. Breakfast is free selections are adequate aling with the evening social time 4 days a week. The staff is always awesome. If your driving they have covered parking. There is an on-site laundry area. Also many eating establishments within walking distance. This is the place to stay in Rochester.

We stayed here for 6 nights since we were having tests and a procedure done at the Mayo Clinic, This hotel is very conveniently located across the street from St Mary's Hospital Campus and the Downtown Campus is located about 1 mile away - very walkable on a nice day.The hotel has a free van that will take you to both locations - they have the timetables at the front desk. The rooms were clean and spacious, staff very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Karen at the front desk who was able to check us in a little early and always had a smile and information about the area. She told us about the trolley tour which we thoroughly enjoyed. It took about 90 minutes and the guide was very knowledgable about Rochester history and the Mayo Brothers. The Mayo Clinic also has free vans but we only used tho Homewood Suites van. Coffee is good and breakfast is free. So glad we stayed here!
