The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, and the location was close to a lot of our planned activities.
Our toddler got sick while we were in the city, but the staff at the hospital was very understanding, and daily asked how she was doing. Great experience.

Our room was wonderful, the breakfast was fantastic. Sabrina in housekeeping was absolutely wonderful. This would have been our go to whenever we visit Jacksonville. The only issue is I did a pre-paid rate, but when we came to check in, Adrian at the front desk said there was still a bill/charge on file despite us telling him and showing him that the transaction posted. He did let us check in and said that he would work it out. I was under the impression that everything went through. Unfortunately, when we came down to check out Sabrina at the front desk also told us that there was a bill on the account. I had to re-pay just to check out. I then had to call my bank to dispute the first charge. From there my bank gave me the 1 800 number to -what I guess is the parent company- and they said that I pre-paid and that I should not have had to pay again. To shorten this story, we had to get the parent company to call the actual hotel, from there Sabrina found out that Adrian had changed our method of payment which caused a charge to show up. Sabrina did an adjustment to my card. I want to thank her for helping us get this all straightened out, but it did put such a sour note on what would have been a great stay. I would love to stay here again, but not at the cost of having to go through that frustration.
