I’ve been staying at the Homewood Suites in Baton Rouge since September and it is definitely a clean space, no issues with bed bugs or anything of that sort. On the other hand, ever since I got here it has been one thing after another. The first week my room was too humid and the air conditioning wasn’t doing the job. I was moved to another room; same issue. Finally, I am in a comfortable room. The problem is, is that for any service I need (i.e. deep cleaning, maintenance issue, etc) it is not carried out until I have asked at least 3x. There is also no consistency with answers. You ask one person for something then another for the same thing (hence my last sentence) and you get no follow through on the thing you asked about. Everyone is nice and friendly, but I really shouldn’t have to keep calling nor going down to the front desk just to make sure a simple task that I request is completed in a timely fashion. I travel a lot for work and for long periods of time, so I’ve seen my fair share of great and so so hotels. Just wish this location felt like a home away from home instead of an extra task.

I stayed in a two bedroom suite. The space was very large. There was a large refrigerator with dishes. It was nice to have a living space where you could not see the beds. I went with a coworker and we each had a bedroom with a door.
