Great Place in Lava!

This hotel is right close to the pools. The room was very clean and just as advertised. The front desk people were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located right on main street. It’s within walking distance to several restaurants. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

I found this unique place on TripAdvisor while researching an off-the-beaten-track place to stay on our way from Washington state to Colorado - and we were delighted! We stayed in the cozy small “Kandinsky” room - perfect for a one-night stay. It was a welcome change from the normal motel along the interstate. Lava Hot Springs itself was a nice surprise- especially off-season. Nice walk along the river. The hotel doesn’t provide breakfast - but has an agreement with the restaurant diagonally opposite to provide a 10% discount to guests - which worked out perfectly. This was a welcome calming stay after two days of 80+ mph on the Interstate! Highly recommend.
