A great place to stay. Very convenient to the Nova Center (except for a little hill - but hey, it keeps me fit). Nice views of the harbour. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Very friendly staff. Nothing to complain about at all really.

Solid spot, solid stay.

Having had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree in Victoria, I was really excited to stay at The Hollis. I chose it because it was fairly close to my conference venue at the Convention Center. Perhaos I had unfairly high expectations, but to be honest my particular room went against these nice memories. The room smelled a little funky, with surfaces in my room appeared not fully cleaned, and the shower curtain literally ripped and too short for the shower - dousing the floor in water (fun!). Otherwise, all staff I encountered were exceptional from beginning to end including for room service. My meal was great, along with my cookie :) I would stay here again, my room was quite spacious and I liked that.
