Overview

Located in the center of Jekyll Island, this Holiday Inn is situated right in front of the Atlantic Ocean. Children under 19 stay free at this chain hotel when they are sharing a room with a parent and kids ages four to 12 eat free. Kids will love hanging out at the Kids Club area where there is a professional who will leave activities with your children year round. The playground is lots of fun and the outdoor pool is a great place to swim if your family is not interested in the beach. The guestrooms and suites feature a king bed or two queen beds, a mini-fridge, microwave, and flat screen television. Additionally, the spacious suites feature a separate living room with a sleeper sofa. Connection rooms and cribs are available upon request too. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is available. There are two onsite restaurants, one of which is poolside, that families can enjoy for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

great price, great hotel

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, free wifi (if you are a rewards member), cable including HBO and other channels. You could see the water on the beach from the room but not the whole beach, but the beach was steps away from access. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice with a lot of chairs and a little bar/grill next to it. The bike rental was easy but my bike had a pedal that was rusty and sticking so they could probably use some maintenance. We told them upon returning the bike. There wasn't free breakfast but the restaurant was located steps away, which served breakfast, lunch and dinner. There was free coffee in the morning, a little shop for snacks and a bar upstairs. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. The price was very reasonable and the hotel was in very good condition.

Nice hotel right on the beach

This large Holiday Inn is right on the beach. Our king room was large and featured a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. The bed was comfortable and the room was well-lit. The bathroom sink counter was spacious and also well-lit. The beach was an easy walk from our room. The Beach House Restaurant next door was so convenient for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
