We have been coming to the Holiday Inn for 15 yrs and my parents for 30 yrs. The Holiday Inn celebrated it’s 50th Anniversary this year and I was hoping the celebration would come with updates but no such luck. The lobby is an open air lobby with no fans and is always hot. We had three rooms this year and two of them had to have the batteries replaced on the electronic key locks because they died and we could not access our rooms. All three of the rooms had to have their bathrooms serviced because the toilets were not working...a real inconvenience. There are less huts on the beach and the hotel is now charging for them which I just find a bit greedy. The food continues to be mediocre and over priced. There are much better eating options on the island. Yes, I have lots of complaints this year, but what keeps us coming back is the family oriented establishment....it is definitely a kid friendly place and one of the best piece’s of beach on the island. It is a beautiful view to wake up to in the morning and a great place to spend your days.

Hotel was very reasonably priced for location and amenities. The staff here were all great, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I didn’t find the breakfast options that great but lots of places nearby. The Palm Tower was having elevator replaced during out stay - that made waiting for an elevator inconvenient. The room was a bit dated but very clean. If you are IHG Gold or higher - there are a few benefits like free cabana rentals and discount on dining purchases. (Not all food establishments on sight are connected to hotel - so no food and bev discount at pizza place and can’t bill to room at all on site service providers. This is also more of a family hotel - we didn’t mind.
