My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights as an extension of a business trip. It’s located across the street from Centennial Park & our room had an unobstructed view of the 1:1 scale replica of the Greek Parthenon. Nice! We purchased our room thru a TA online offer which gave us a decent rate for rooms in Nashville over the Veterans Day weekend & the runup to the CMA Awards. We bought a king room on their Executive floor... it was great! The room was not large but was nice & clean, had a very comfy bed, rollout desk & chair for computing, so-so side chair, TV & regular amenities. Really good lighting throughout the room. The bathroom was large with a good shower & plenty of towels. The best part of our stay was the Exec floor lounge. With a TV, desktop computer, some comfortable furniture, NA beverages & morning continental breakfast & evening cookies we were in here daily. I have to admit we seemed to take it over! It was great for movie watching while hubby napped or finished up some work details, had a daily newspaper so I got my puzzle fix, and gave us a quiet spot for some late night takeout in front of the TV. Other guests came in & out for bev & cookies but it was most often empty! Bonus for us!
The only place HI fell down on the job was delivering on their offer of basic toiletries if you’ve forgotten anything. I’d left my toothbrush at our previous hotel so needed one until I could replace mine. The front desk said they were out but would have it sent up-never showed even after 2nd request. Towel toothbrush in a pinch!
They also have a free shuttle service that takes you to hot spots in Nashville-but not the airport.
