This family-friendly member of the Holiday Inn hotel chain is within walking distance of London’s West End. There are several Royal Parks where families can enjoy bike riding, pedal boating, winter festivals, and summer concerts. The theater district is a short walk from the hotel as is Buckingham Palace. A short London Tube ride under the Thames river goes to the Sea Life Aquarium and the London Eye. Children under 18 stay for free and children 12 and under eat free in the onsite restaurant. Besides an English breakfast and European lunches and dinners, the restaurant also serves light snacks and afternoon tea.

We've stayed here 8 times in recent years and love its location and helpful staff.
However the owner group has decided to close after the New Year's, what a loss
to visitors and hope employees will all find new jobs.
The time frame (3 or more years?) and plan for the building are both unclear,
and there is no info on whether it will reopen as a hotel.
If you want to stay here, this fall is the last chance!
Please note currently there is some maintenance work that includes loud drilling
affecting upper floors in various areas, M-F 11AM-4PM.

Recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Mayfair for a weekend break. The hotel is in the perfect location for the sights of central London. It is right next door to Green Park tube station.
The staff at the hotel are all really helpful and attentive. This goes from the guys on the Concierge desk to the reception staff and bar/waitress staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them and remembered us when going to the bar and resturant.
I would really reccomend this hotel if you are visiting London.
