My father and I stayed here for 4 nights and we were satisfied with our stay. The hotel is located at the Huatulco marina where all of the boats dock and take tourists on boat tours, there is also a nice beach within a few minutes walk from the hotel with lots of seafood restaurants. You can swim at the beach nearby since it’s a bay, no waves. This hotel offers free parking which is a plus, it seems a lot of hotels nowadays charge for parking.
The service at the restaurant was okay, nothing special but were still attentive. The breakfast selection was okay. Your basic omelette station where you can order eggs any style and pancakes. Most of breakfast food was your traditional Mexican breakfast food such as beans, rice et cetera. You wont find any bacon, sausages, or any American traditional options.
The rooms were great, the A/C was strong, the beds were firm and the bedsheets are of high quality. There is also a large LCD screen with a lot of American channels, my father and I were happy since we were able to watch the MLB World Series.
The pool was small and crowded but I would highly recommended the beach over the pool. The gym was very small, they have 2 low quality treadmills and a cable machine for your basic workouts, no dumbbells.
Would I recommend it? Yes. It has all of your basic American amenities in a great location. I felt safe all times.
