Great Hotel in a Great Location Aircraft Noise

Spent 2 nights in this hotel. It is out of the main area of Washington, but a free shuttle service to Kings street with other links gets you into the centre quickly. The room was large and modern, it did suffer from aircraft noise as the flight path is over the hotel and the front desk staff appeared board and miserable. Overall a good choise with good restaurants and shop nearby.

Lackluster

Ugh...so many things went wrong. Room was musty and a gross stain on floor (front desk ignored me when I told her this at check out). Was hoping mustiness would go away with a/c, but no such luck. A/C was loud! At dinner, the staff (even front desk) had no idea about the kids eat free deal. Had to fight with them and prove with confirmation on phone. Took forever to get dinner and the server was annoyed with our business. The pool is nice but closes at 9. Had to pay for parking at kiosk in lobby but it didn't work. Had to go to front desk and then when we pulled out of garage, the ticket still didn't work. Parking garage is tight and filled with carpet and furnishings. Witnessed the shuttle driver fighting with a taxi driver. Overall, very unprofessional.
