Overview

Just a block from the Disney resorts and a 15-minute walk from Downtown Disney, this Holiday Inn is one of the closest hotels that is not a Disney property. The hotel sells Disney tickets at its front desk, helping to eliminate waiting in line. Visitors to Knott’s Berry Farm can expect about a 20-minute drive. The hotel’s Splash Zone near its outdoor pool is a popular spot for kids with water cannons, jets, and more. The hotel’s suites provide the most room for families, with a kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator, and a sleeper sofa. On-site self-serve laundry is available daily. Standard Internet is free to all guests, and kids eat free at the on-site Onyx Restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.

Decent location, poor amenities

The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to Downtown Disney, but there is nothing nearby the hotel itself. That would not be an issue but for the fact that the bar/lounge does not open until 4:00. Worse yet, they never opened on time a single day we were there. I asked around 4:15 when it would open and was told “I’m running late, maybe 30 minutes.” Again, this happened every single day. I complained to the front desk and was told that the restaurant manager would not be in until the next morning. I would recommend going elsewhere.

I enjoyed staying in this hotel 11/2011 for 3nights very clean and comfortable very near to Disneyland it was bed only without breakfast we had coffee machine in the room but it’s near to many places to eat breakfast
