Before I start my review, I want to recognize the great service by the lady that check me in, I feel so sorry that I didn't get her name, but she was courteous and very friendly..Thanks...!!
Well, the hotel is well located, close to main restaurants and the lagoon, when we arrived the tide was high and it was a flood on the street where the hotel located but, this is something that we can't complaint, mother's nature is sacred and can not be touched....
The room was decent, clean and spacious, our room had a refrigerator and microwave, I was looking for the safe, but we couldn't find it, we checked all drawers and we didn't see, because of this, we had to refuse service during our stay due our valuables, I got an email after my visit and after leaving my impressions in the IHG site, where they said that rooms do have safe, and it's in one of the drawers, maybe we didn't check enough or I need a new prescription glasses...LOL...
The linen was clean and the bed cover felt so good.
My issue with the bathroom was that every time I was taking a shower, the whole floor gets soaking wet, we had to ask/use several floor towels to mop the floor.
The Breakfast was decent, but something was missing, the should put more healthy food and more fresh fruits, those sausages, bacon and pancakes are not quite healthy.
Some rooms are under renovation and there was heavy traffic of workers in and out on our floor, also the carpet in the hallway was very dirty because of this.
The time response from the staff is fast...!!..The small towel hanger in the bathroom fell off the wall I called the reception to report it and in less than five minutes maintenance was in our room fixing it...!!
We didn't use the pool or gym...with that great weather and those beaches..!!..who will...LOL..
Overall this hotel is good, the reasons that we will stay again it's because the personnel, from the reception to the housekeepers, are very friendly and willing to assist you when you need it and, this makes a difference and also the location...
**Oh...one thing, this for the Hotel Manager, please install some shades in the cafeteria, that sun streaming when you are having breakfast it's kind of annoying...**
