So, intially I was booked in to the Hammersmith holiday Inn. I arrived there about 11.30pm after finishing work at 11pm after a long shift. My company had booked me the hotel earlier in the day, with it being double the price from when my colleague booked in for the same night a week ago.
As I arrived I was informed there were no beds for me and I was to be moved to the holiday in in wandsworth.
I had been up since 6.30am and at this point all I wanted to do was sleep. The staff at Hammersmith did insist I had a free drink but realistically I just wanted a bed. After trying to untangle the confusion of the situation I was given a taxi to wandsworth holiday inn, which I arrived at around 12.30am.
The staff at this holiday Inn were friendly enough but I was greeted in my room by a blood stain on the bedsheet.
At this time of night I was exhausted, and had to be at work for 10am the next day. The service of this hotel chain greatly distrupted my sleep and ability to work on Friday.
The whole situation was a bit of a joke.

It's not often I will write a review but there were a couple of things that really struck me about my visit. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and there was a young guy at breakfast called Luke who was exceptionally attentive and it was good to see he was using chemicals correctly to clean the tables as he left the sanitizer on for the requisite time which was VERY refreshing to see (sorry I'm sad).
I am a female travelling alone and felt very comfortable travelling alone.
