Friendly staff and budget friendly

We stayed for 2 nights, it is what it is, a budget friendly chain hotel.
What made it for us is the great staff, helpfull and friendly.
Rooms are basic but have everything you need. Kettle and tv. Good shower.
Located 2 mins walk from tube that will take you straight into central London.
The area the hotel is in is ok though short on places to eat out within walking distance.
There is 2 take out pizza places and 2 supermarkets within a minutes walk from the hotel.
There is also a pub nearby.
Breakfast has something for everyone though tables could be cleaned quicker.
There is a bar area and food available in the evening.
Overall we enjoyed our 2 night stay.

Stayed here many times and not much has changed

This is still a good place to stay due to its proximity to the North Acton station. The area around the hotel has changed a lot over the years and there are now more places to shop which is nice. Too bad there are no refrigerators or digital safes in the rooms, however. And the carpet in the hallways is threadbare in spots and the HVAC units are rather noisy. Maybe someday all this will be addressed, but meanwhile the proximity to the tube is the real reason to stay here.
