We were touring around London and Cornwall in May 2019, spending 6 nights here at the beginning of the month then another 5 nights at the end of the month. While the location isn’t central London neither is the price. There are many bus routes that go past the hotel, some to take you to the tube station, or it’s about a 30 minute walk to the tube station. All the staff that we interacted with were great, always friendly and willing to help. The included breakfast has many choices to satisfy almost everyone. Some rooms might be small by North America standards, but bathrooms are roomy and generous. There are many restaurants and pubs within walking distance and M&S is near the tube station. The main road offers up a plethora of shops and there are a few grocery stores nearby should you have a snack attack. There are a couple of very nice parks nearby to offer up a green respite in the city, should you need it.

The location leaves a lot to desire, doesn’t feel safe at night walking to the train and back.

No car park, had to park in public car park 5 minute walk away around the back of the shops, when I went out next morning the car had sick and kebab all over the back.

Rooms very small for holiday inn, basic.

Breakfast was bacon and egg as normal but a bit dry and over cooked.

Very disappointed, checked out early and stayed elsewhere for next two nights.

Sent email to management and got fobbed off.

Would never stay again.
