Upgraded to a suite as Gold member which was nice. Good room spoilt only by screaming child next door on night one and dog, yes dog barking further along the corridor. Location is good with a number of restaurants, mainly fast food style within walking distance.
Breakfast day one Fri 21 June, complete disaster, all hot food at 08.10 except for very old scrambled egg empty and bread yet dining room was not full. Another guest asked when food would be available and was told more was being cooked but after 20 mins only bacon appeared much to her disgust.
I asked for bread and just 3 slices were brought out, I had been intending to toast 2 slices for both myself and my wife but she went short! Coffee was also cold so made hot in the room.The woman on duty is clearly very unhappy in her role, has zero customer service skills and an aggressive persona.
Night two, all quite no screaming kid or barking dog and breakfast on the Saturday was perfect with a different very pleasant lady on duty who was training a new membership staff so usual Holiday Inn standard.
