First, we thought this hotel was a little closer to the downtown action. However, it was only a short Uber ride away so it didn't matter. We found the check in (early) a bit of a let down. We know we were early, but the person at the desk was a little on the rude side and quick to push us aside. After an almost 5 hour drive and lots of Nashville traffic, this was disturbing. Again, we let it go. The room (once we got in later in the day) was clean but the odor was horrible. We couldn't tell if it was musty or previous smokers or a combination.
The breakfast provided was okay to get our day started but the coffee always had grounds at the bottom of my cup.
We would consider this place again for the location...if we're too late to jump in our friends' Air BNB like this year.

We should have left right away, but we kept thinking it wouldn't get worse. The humidity was so high, the air conditioner couldn't have been draining properly--- hence the mold and mildew. (Photo) They give you a refrigerator in every room but no microwaves- not even community ones like you find everywhere else. The worst part was when the television popped on at three in the morning at FULL VOLUME, which made no sense because I turned it off myself on one of the lowest volumes. I'm assuming a disgruntled employee set it like that because it came on at exactly 3:00am. (Though we hadn't had any interaction with anyone.) Don't try to complain because these people won't even answer the phone except to make a reservation!
