Decent overnight stay, OK breakfast offering

I stayed at this Holiday Inn location for business in the area. The staff, when you could find them, provided very minimal service. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast offering was OK. Nothing to brag about. The coffee was pretty good. Not many hotel choices in this small town.

Clean, friendly, expensive

This was your typical Holiday Inn Express - clean, friendly, nice free breakfast - but it was considerably more expensive than other ones I stayed at along my trip. I asked why and was told there are only two hotels in the area, so they can charge more. The area of Brevard is certainly worth the journey - it's beautiful with many great hikes to waterfalls. I would just plan to stay outside of the area if I go again.
