The lobby was very nice with cookies,cider, and coffee available when we checked into the hotel. We phoned ahead and they had the keys ready for us to hand out to our group. The room had a connecting room with a hot tub in the room. It was a very nice large room. The manager even handed out candy to our bus on the check out from the hotel. When you have a room on the second floor to remember you are checking in on 3rd floor and have to go down. It is a little confusing. We had 14 rooms. One room did have trouble with the shower,but it was fixed.

The lobby area looks nice and inviting. This Holiday Inn Express has the smallest rooms we have ever seen in an IHG branded hotel. The furnishings looked old and tired as did the carpeting. It just did not look and feel very clean. The bathroom was very tiny and the tub looked so worn out. Everything in the room looked past its prime. This place just did not feel like a Holiday Inn Express.
