We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express recently and enjoyed our time there. The hotel is located on Greeno Rd. between Fairhope and Point Clear.
Staff were friendly and helpful. We kept running into two other groups of guests who were also congenial.
There is a sunroom just off the lobby which has a lot of light. There are table top books about the area if you have time to read and lemon-infused water and chocolate chip cookies on hand.
The breakfast offered a wide variety of healthy and normal choices, such as turkey bacon or pork sausage, egg white vegan omelets or cheese omelets. There was an oatmeal setup with toppings, cereal, juices and so on. The buffet was kept stocked on the days we were there.
Our spacious room had a queen bed, large bath area with coffee bar outside, and plenty of storage.
Overall this was a very pleasant stay.
