This nine-story downtown hotel is perfectly situated to explore the heart of El Paso on foot. Their recently renovated rooms contain two queen beds and space for a crib or rollaway. Ask for an upper floor for great views of the city. Every room is cleanly and stylishly decorated, and includes a refrigerator, microwave, coffee makers, and DVD player. Other amenities of the hotel include free Wi-Fi, free airport shuttle, and a small outdoor pool. The famous Holiday Inn Express free breakfast is served up each morning in the lobby breakfast room, and includes eggs, waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and more.
With its prime downtown location, your family needs only to step out the front door of the hotel to find historical sites, trendy restaurants, quirky art galleries, and mesmerizing museums. Three blocks away is San Jacinto Plaza, a popular gathering place that was once home to live alligators, but now only contains alligator statues, benches, and food trucks. Several blocks further is the brand new stadium of the minor league El Paso Chihuahuas baseball team. From your hotel, you can jump into the car and head a few miles down the freeway to reach many of El Paso’s most popular attractions, including their world-class zoo, an aerial tramway, and a very cool military museum at the army base. With its fun downtown location, stylish rooms, and hearty hot breakfast, the Holiday Inn Express makes a great choice for your family vacation to El Paso.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for 2 nights for a work trip. The hotel was very clean and had nice amenities, including prompt breakfast and hot coffee and a nice, compact work out facility. The customer service was excellent. The best part was the shuttle service. They drove me to and from the airport, as well as helped me get to a few places within a few miles of the hotel. Would recommend.

It’s the little things that add up to a good stay vs a bad stay.
The location was great for my trip and had free parking. The rest has a lot to be desired. The door to the room was extremely hard to open and close, almost like it was painted shut or the foundation shifted. During my first night, after I had fallen asleep someone down the hall slammed the door and scared me. There were only 3 hangers in the closet, that was a little inconvenient. I was on the 8th floor on the highway side and the traffic was loud. No ice machine on 8th floor, I called the front desk and was told only on 1st, 6th, and 7th floors. I went down one flight to 7th floor, it was out of order and directed me to the 9th or 3rd floor. The shower didn’t want to come on, I had to push, pull and turn the knob. Other small items in disrepair light socket, etc.
A positive- there is a USB port by the phone.
Like I said it’s the little things.
