Located just six miles from Fort Belvoir, Washington D.C. is also situated just across the Potomac River. The Ronald Reagan National Airport is also only about six miles away from this hotel. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the Huntington Metro station and Old Town Alexandria as well so there’s plenty of ways to explore. The guestrooms and suites feature a king or two queen beds, a mini-fridge, coffee maker and flat screen television. Cribs, rollaway beds and connecting rooms are available upon request. Complimentary Wi-Fi access can be found throughout the hotel so there is never a concern for kids or adults about staying connected to work, home and school. Families will love to kick start each morning with the free hot breakfast buffet where they will find items like scrambled eggs, hot and cold cereal, juices, muffins and more. The fitness center with its cardio and weight machines is a great spot for those who are seeking to stay on top of workout routines while traveling.

Really nice clean hotel, excellent staff, nice breakfast layout. The only issue we had (not the staffs fault) was the tv. We called it an early night because we had a long day, figured we would relax and watch some tv after coming back from dinner but found the remote would only turn the tv on/off leaving us with FOX NEWS. I’m not tech illiterate so trust me I tried. Finally, thinking maybe it was the battery I headed down to the desk. I don’t remember the gentleman’s name but he was super nice and helpful. He couldn’t find any extra remotes so gave me the one from the lobby. I came back up to the room and changed the channel however again, it went right back to Fox News. I gave up all efforts at this point. This morning I heard another guest had the same exact issue which can only lead us to believe that there is a fox’s news conspiracy going on here. We would have pushed 5/5 dots if it weren’t for the tv issues. If you have no problem with Fox News you’ll be just fine (sort of). Other than that I really do recommend the stay, we got a great deal. We considered Airbnb before booking the room but it would have been a lot more pricey and further away from dc, I’m glad we chose this spot.

We booked this property for a one night stay through booking.com. we had the confirmation # and everything we needed for our stay, or so we thought. The hotel did not receive the information from booking.com but honored our pricing anyway with a free upgrade for our inconvenience. We were finally able to cancel the booking.com reservation after being on hold for 30 minutes. Holiday Inn Express is awesome! Booking.com is horrible. Please do not use them!
