Located in the Charleston historic district in the upper King and Meeting Street neighborhood, this is one of the newer hotels in the historic district. The Charleston Museum, Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry and many restaurants and shops are all within walking distance of this hotel. Kids under 19 years old get to stay free with paying parents and kids under 12 can eat free too. After a day of exploring the city, take a dip in the outdoor pool. Kids can swim and play while parents relax in the nearby outdoor patio that offers easy relaxation in the living room style patio. The guestrooms and suites feature one king or two queen bed, a mini-fridge and flat screen television. Additionally, the spacious suites feature a sleeper sofa, separate living and dining space and a microwave. Cribs and rollaway beds are available upon request. Everyone can stay connected to home and work without a worry since the hotel has complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout. The onsite restaurant, The Meeting Room Restaurant & Tapas Bar, serves a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Location is edge of downtown, easy bus ride or Uber. Staff was the best of any ihg hotel I’ve experienced. Bed comfortable, room clean, again staff awesome! Couldn’t ask for anything more.public parking next door for $10 per day.

The location is not exactly the Historic District, though King Street is a block away....but King Street goes a long way down to the revered Historic District and water. We relied on Uber, though multiple drivers insisted that our hotel was the hotel on the next block behind the Holiday Inn. The place seemed short handed with staff doubling up on duties, forgetting simple details, distractions.
Towels at pool were kept fresh.
