A good place for both business people of tourists

Good location only 1 block from subway, shopping and restaurants within easy 15 minute walk. Hotel has a good bar and restaurant attached. Rooms are comfortable although the air conditioning was very noisy and did affect the ability to sleep with it on.

Visited New York to hold my new Granddaughter in Brooklyn.

The Holiday Inn Brooklyn Downtown was a great place to serve as our hub to visit my new Granddaughter in Brooklyn. We felt like we were in the middle of things and were not too far from my son's home. The area around the hotel was great for walking tours and the quick response of Uber cars made getting around a breeze.The personnel at the hotel were all warm and friendly (against New Yorker stereotypes I know) and were of great help in helping get around the area. I would stay there again. I recommend the hotel if you want to stay in a great part of Brooklyn.
