The Hilton Providence is conveniently located near the Dunkin’ Donuts Center for families visiting the city for a show or game. Families can choose from one of the 274 guestrooms, with king, queen or double beds, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and free cribs upon request. Rollaway beds are also available for $20 per night. Be sure to ask for a room that offers city views, rather than one that overlooks the highway.

An onsite, indoor pool is available for guests, and the hotel is close to local attractions. Just a short walk away is the RISD Museum and just a short drive away is the Roger Williams Park Zoo.

Onsite dining is available at the hotel’s restaurant, Shula’s 347 (make a reservation) and at its Starbucks, which is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Walk up to the nearby Federal Hill section of the city and stop at Angelo’s Civita Farnese for lunch or dinner. The family-owned Italian restaurant has budget-friendly prices and delicious food.

Enjoyable birthday visit

We had an enjoyable stay here for my birthday. The location of the hotel was excellent for walking and visiting area attractions. The room was clean and spacious. Best part of the stay was Freddie at the front desk. He went out of his way to ensure our stay was wonderful. Once he knew it was a birthday getaway- he went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect. Highly recommend staying here especially if you get to work with Freddie. He was professional, friendly and great at what he does. Thank you!

It was a quaint room. Great location for where we needed to be. Was kinda shocked a small fridge wasn't included. I've stayed in just as nice hotels for way less price and it had a mini fridge microwave etc. Also there is a parking fee. And I did not care for the bed As I said it accommodated to where we had to be in the area and it was nice not to have to leave the city and then come back in the morning. Over all the room was clean and the location was perfect.
