Enjoy one of the 200 guestrooms and suites at the beachfront Hilton Key Largo Resort, each offering stunning views of the Florida Keys. Families can choose from rooms with one king bed or two double beds, or a suite with one bedroom with a king bed and a sofa bed. All come with in-room mini-fridges, coffee makers, Internet and flat-screen TV’s. Most rooms come with balconies, too. Request a crib at no extra charge if needed.
Head to the beach for a day in the sand or opt for one of the two heated pools. The resort offers bicycle rentals, fishing, jet skiing, sailing, snorkeling, windsurfing and tennis courts. Families can set up sight seeing tours through the property, as well. The ScoutAbout program will have your kids running around the resort discovering special areas, such as the Strangler Fig Tree, the Seagrape Tree or spots with curly-tailed lizards. Collect color-coded ScoutAbout bands along the way and wear them with pride. Snap a photo of each spot and upload to the resort’s Facebook page for a chance to be the Top Scout of the Week and to make the ScoutAbout Wall of Fame.
When it’s time for breakfast, lunch or dinner, enjoy Treetops Bar & Grill, which is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and serves up a variety of flavors from the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. Grab lunch at a poolside spot like the Splashes Pool Bar or Waves Beach Bar — open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. respectively. Room service is also available from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Children’s menus are available.
The Hilton Key Largo Resort also offers families pet-friendly accommodations, onsite laundry facilities, a business center with printers and copiers and a gift shop for souvenirs.

3 adults stayed in a two bedroom one bathroom suite with a kitchenette which was tastefully decorated, nice appliances and the bedding was great. great. The bathroom though was tiny even for one Person let alone three adults! The door barely cleared the toilet. Maybe the room is better suited towards family with small children.
The location is great, the beaches are very nice and they offer water sports and activities. There were a number of times where I called the front desk and got no answer and had a call back. I had to request a room be cleaned, and when it was they never refreshed or coffee service. It was a little annoying.
It is a dog friendly hotel which we didn’t realize which wasn’t a problem however our room overlooks a large grassy area which is used by the dog owners as a bathroom. They have children playing in bubbles which I thought was a little strange given the fact that all the dogs use that same space as their bathroom.

Bakers Cay exceeded all of my expectations from prior to the trip until after my return. I easily communicated with Scott prior to arrival to find out about the local marine school for kids that does programs on the property and other things to plan to do with the kids. Dan (marine educator) helped my girls to find a baby seahorse and explore some unique animals. They said this was their best hotel experience ever. So many hotels have resort fees where you feel like you’re not really getting anything. The exact opposite is true here! We were able to use fishing rods and bait (thanks for teaching us how to use a fishing rod, Brittany), SUP, kayaks, floats in the ocean, enjoy s’mores and a foam party. My younger girls LOVED the dogs around the hotel, especially Maya.
The hotel was immaculate at all times and the staff appears to love their property and wants to do whatever possible to make your vacation relaxing and memorable. We enjoyed the giant scrabble in the lobby area, the Hilton Diamond drink hour, and so many FANTASTIC tacos. I ordered tacos every day, they were THAT good.
Very comfortable beds/ pillows/ linens and excellent soundproofing from hallway to rooms and room to room. It was nice to have access to the mini fridge in my room and ample ice in the hallway.
The beach is the main attraction and it is perfect. You can actually enjoy most of the day in the water because the temperature and water movement is ideal.
From the day I left, all I could think about was how soon I could rebook another trip to Bakers Cay. I’m happy to be returning in December.
