Sure, Hilton Greenville isn’t in trendy downtown Greenville proper, but if you’re looking for a sleek hotel at a sweet price, this hotel may be ideal for you. Hilton Greenville is well under five miles to the downtown action and 9.6 miles to the airport. This hotel is less than a half mile to South Carolina’s largest mall — the Haywood Mall — and is within a stone’s throw to a load of dining and entertainment.
The property also has a shuttle that chauffeurs guests from the Hilton to any downtown venue’s front door. The shuttle works within a five-mile radius and downtown Greenville is absolutely within those boundaries.
The Hilton’s standard rooms offer a king or double beds. A king bed corner will give you fabulous views. Upgrade to a king suite that delivers more square footage, a pullout sofa and access to the Executive Lounge that serves a continental breakfast and evening drinks and snacks Monday through Thursday. Rooms come with a mini-fridge and a flat-screen TV. Suites also have a microwave, but most standard rooms don’t. A communal microwave sits on the lobby by the front desk.
Other amenities include free parking and free Wi-Fi. The property’s onsite dining is a bistro serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You’ll also find a heated indoor pool and whirlpool sitting under an atrium, and a fitness center.

We had a wonderful experience here. Staff was friendly. Room was great. Unlike most hotels, shower actually had water pressure. Bed was comfy. All was clean. A great value for a very nice hotel. We will stay here anytime we have an overnight in Greenville.

This location does not meet the standard that I normally expect from a Hilton establishment. They're promising a pending renovation, I'd hold off until then. There is little sound insulation so the road noise is fairly significant compared to other near highway Hilton locations. The carpets are stained, there's mold in the bathrooms, etc. Avoid the elevators which make disturbingly loud clunking sounds and are slow. Service is hit or miss, the front desk was fine, but at check-in at 4:30 pm the hallways were still full of dirty dishes and laundry.
