My girlfriend and I stayed here for a quick stop-over on the way to Los Olivos. We arrived @ 11pm and checked out at 8:30am.

The people at check-in we’re great and we were in our room about 3 minutes after we walked into the lobby. The room was ok, nothing special but clean and correctly prepped.

We were tired from our drive and just wanted to sleep so we were in bed by 11:30 and trying to get to sleep. That’s when the issues started...
- The A/C, although it worked well, made a constant ticking noise like the fan was hitting something. It was so annoying that we eventually just turned it off. So it was warm in the room.
- We had a room that was facing the beautiful 101 freeway and it was loud.
- There was a wedding at an adjacent building to the hotel. Drunken guests were coming in until 3am and were...well drunken guests and super loud.

We ended up getting almost no sleep. Normally I would have tried to get a different room, but given the fact that it was so late and switching rooms would have been a hassle and also kept us from sleeping anyway we stuck it out.

To the front desk staff’s credit...when checking out they asked about the stay and I was honest. They seemed genuinely sorry to hear it and we’re going to refund some of the points used for the stay.

Was recommended to stay here by coworkers. Had to travel to Oxnard for business. Had a great experience at this hotel. The room and bathroom were very nice and the staff was very friendly. I made good use of the breakfast service and the staff there were great. They were very attentive even when it was busy. I appreciated the speediness since I had to head to work fairly early in the morning. If I am traveling here for business again I will certainly stay here again.
